About Us

Our vision as a church is to see St. Louis filled with the knowledge and love of Jesus through a movement of missional disciples.

Missional Disciples are followers of Jesus who are being transformed by His love (heart, soul, mind, and strength) and overflowing with His love (for their neighbor). This means seeking to cultivate a deep spirituality (intimacy with Jesus) and everyday mission (imitation of Jesus) in all of life.

We grow as missional disciples in community (read here) by practicing the way of Jesus through four core values: seeking growth, using disciplines, investing in community, and engaging mission. These four values can be used to map out Jesus' way of life that we read about in the gospels. All four values are interconnected and essential to growing as disciples of Jesus and also shape the way we gather in our rhythms of discipleship. We break down the four values as follows:

1 / Seeking Growth in our love of God
We seek to have our whole life transformed by God's love.

2 / Using Disciplines as a means of grace
We practice the presence of Jesus by using spiritual disciplines to seek growth in His love.

3 / Investing in Community with other followers of Jesus

We commit to journey through life with others by continually pointing one another to Jesus.

4 / Engaging Mission through love of neighbor

We live as everyday missionaries seeking to join God’s redemptive work in the world.

Partners in Mission

We are partners in mission with the Inspire Movement, which is an international discipleship movement that started in the UK. We champion and help catalyze Inspire's vision of Missional Discipleship by seeking to help others pursue Jesus' Way of Life through small, authentic, Spirit-led rhythms of discipleship.

Directors of The Table

Anthony and Kylie Watts are the founders of The Table.  They are committed to raising up missional disciples in St. Louis by practicing the way of Jesus through authentic discipleship communities.  With the help of a small team, they give pastoral leadership and oversight to The Table.

During their time in Wilmore, Kentucky, Anthony and Kylie had their lives radically transformed after being invited into an intentional group of people that sought to live life and seek God together.  The blessing they received from this way of doing church lead to a call on their lives to take what they had been graciously given, and share with the people of St. Louis.

Anthony and Kylie have been married for 10 years and have two little girls, Lucy and Emmie.  Anthony has a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary, and they both have been leading and pastoring intentional discipleship communities for the past 6 years.
